The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving GIS’s growth strategy across Poland and Europe. By identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and developing strategic partnerships, you will help expand our presence within industries such as Medical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace & Defense, and Railway.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role for a commercially driven professional who enjoys creating opportunities, engaging with senior decision-makers, and translating customer challenges into sustainable business solutions. Combining market insight, relationship management, and sales leadership, you will be a key contributor to the continued growth and international success of GIS.

Main tasks & Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across Poland and Europe.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with GIS’s growth ambitions and market expansion objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities to ensure sustainable business growth.
- Use market intelligence and industry insights to identify trends, customer needs and new commercial opportunities.
Customer & Market Development
- Build strong long-term relationships with customers, partners and key decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer challenges and translating them into value-adding solutions.
- Identify growth opportunities within the Medical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace & Defense and Railway sectors.
- Represent GIS in customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Commercial Excellence
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closure.
- Develop strategic account plans that strengthen customer relationships and maximize business value.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting to support business decision-making.
- Apply a structured and data-driven approach to sales management and performance improvement.
Strategic Partnerships & Business Expansion
- Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships that contribute to GIS’s long-term growth objectives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders in multinational and Fortune 500-type organizations.
- Contribute to the expansion of GIS’s presence across existing and new markets.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and the delivery of high-quality solutions
Your Profile

Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, consulting services, or a commercial role within Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operational Excellence environments.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in multinational organizations.
- Knowledge of industries such as Medical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace & Defense, and/or Railway is a strong asset.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, reporting tools, and commercial performance tracking.
