To bring GIS to the next level in terms of innovation and change to scale the model, with current offices in 20 countries across 4 continents, GIS International announced the appointment of Rahul Devarakonda (RD), as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Currently based out of Raleigh, US, Rahul will assist the company’s growth and strategy as we embark on the next phase of expansion.

The strategic plan has four main pillars that will serve as a compass for the next years: Organic & In-Organic Growth, Category Management, Innovation, People.

Rahul is a Procurement Strategy & Business Growth Leader with 22-year industry experience gained both at Fortune 100 companies as well as start-up organizations driving strong business results in numerous disciplines of procurement, supply chain, product management, engineering, operations, and financial management.

Commenting on his appointment as COO, Rahul said, “GIS International is well-positioned with core capabilities across Procurement and Supply Chain optimization.
